In 2021, the total investment of the mobile network operators in Turkey increased by 15 percent compared to the previous year. The leading mobile network operator was Turkcell placing over five billion Turkish lira investments. The total investments made by all operators almost tripled in 2021 compared to 2016 with nearly 15 billion Turkish lira investment.
