Number of 2G mobile network subscriptions in Turkey 2009-2021

The total number of 2G mobile-network subscriptions decreased dramatically between 2009 and 2021 in Turkey. The biggest apparent reason for this declinenwas that most subscribers began to transfer to 3G or 4.5G technologies over the years. As of 2021, there were only two million 2G subscriptions in the country.
