Frequency of use of lubricant during sex among women Japan, by age 2020
According to a survey conducted in February 2020, over nine percent of female respondents in Japan aged 30 to 39 years stated that they utilized lubricating jelly to ease pain every time they had sexual intercourse. By comparison, an overall share of about 80 percent of women never used personal lubricants during sex despite the perceived pain.
