In 2021, the region with the highest value of green bond issued among emerging market was East Asia and the Pacific (EAP), with green bonds worth nearly 235 billion U.S. dollars. On the other hand, Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) issued only 3.1 billion U.S. dollars.
