In 2020, the leading reinsurance company in Africa by net result was was Africa Re. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Africa Re reached a net result of over 55 million U.S. dollars that year. This was followed by Société Centrale de Réassurance and Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance, which had net results valued at approximately 35.7 million and 31.4 million U.S. dollars, respectively.
