Most common reasons for not purchasing non-life insurance among SMEs in Japan 2023
According to a survey conducted in 2023, around 35.2 percent of small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan did not take out property and casualty insurance because they considered the relevant risks to be unlikely. Another common reason for SMEs not to take out insurance was the lack of financial resources.
