Cement plant distribution in South Korea 2023, by province
In 2023, there were eight cement plants operating in the Gangwon province of South Korea. This made it the province with the most active cement plants, closely followed by the provinces of Chungbuk and Jeonnam. The majority of plants were located along the coastline, while those that were inland were usually located near rivers.
