Federal spending on education in Mexico 2013-2021, by category
In 2021, Mexico planned on spending approximately 511.55 million pesos on basic education. This is the area of education that received most federal spending by far, followed by higher education with 139.11 million pesos. In turn, adult education not only had the least amount of public expenditure, but also had a considerable smaller budget than it did in 2013.
