Share of worldwide GHG emissions APAC 2021, by subregion
In 2021, East and Northeast Asia were responsible for approximately 32 percent of the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions worldwide. In comparison, the Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand, only accounted for one percent of the global GHG emissions. That year, East and Northeast Asia's share of APAC's total greenhouse gas emissions amounted to 61.7 percent.
