Hong Kong: public opinion on possible COVID-19 vaccine pass requirement for public transport 2022

To fight a new wave of coronavirus infections in early 2022, the government in Hong Kong announced the introduction of a new COVID-19 vaccine pass scheme applicable for some crowded places. According to a survey conducted among Hong Kong residents in February 2022, around 60 percent of respondents would approve if the government decided to extend the requirement of the vaccine pass to public transportation as well.
