Volkswagen Group: global PHEV deliveries 2020-2022
In 2022, the Volkswagen Group recorded nearly 245,200 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle deliveries, a 21.2 percent decrease compared to its 2021 volume. The brand's 2021 performance was put into perspective on March 31, 2022, when Volkswagen's parent company recalled some 42,300 hybrid cars in the Passat, Golf, Tiguan, and Arteon model lines.
