This statistic illustrates the types of automobiles that were expected to be most widespread in Italy by 2030. In 2017, almost 40 percent of respondents believed that hybrid cars would become the most popular type of cars in Italy by 2030. Another 17 percent of respondents thought that electric cars would become the most widespread ones.
