Labor trafficking detainees in Spain 2022, by nationality
In 2022, 72 people were detained in Spain for their involvement in human trafficking for forced labor. Of these, 21 were of Spanish nationality and nine were of Romanian nationality. That year, 89 labor trafficking victims were identified in Spain, and nearly 60 percent of them were from Morocco and Ukraine.
