Number of paid TV subscribers in Western Europe 2021-2027

The number of pay TV subscribers in selected Western European countries has decreased across the board between 2021 and 2022, and is projected to drop further until 2027. The only country in which this is not the case is Spain, where the number of pay TV subscribers was unchanged between 2021 and 2022 and is expected to stay stagnant through 2027. By contrast, Germany is expected to lose over two million pay TV subscribers within the next five years.
