Number of q-commerce dark stores in the Netherlands 2022, per city
There were 34 so-called dark stores in Amsterdam in May 2022. These dark stores are essentially supermarkets that are not accessible to the public. Instead, they are used by online grocery delivery services such as Gorillas and Getir to store their inventory. Amsterdam had by far the most dark stores of all cities in the Netherlands in 2022.
