Distribution of education expenditure in Turkey 2019-2021, by education level
In Turkey, higher education's share of expenditure was the highest among all levels of education in 2020 and 2021, reaching 30 and 32 percent, respectively. Furthermore, the ratio of secondary education expenditure was also relatively high, standing at 28 percent both in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, this figure showed a slight decrease, measuring 25.6 percent.
