Gazprom was the most profitable company in Russia in 2021, with its net income after expenses measured at nearly 2.2 trillion Russian rubles in 2021. Other energy companies among the most profitable ones were Rosneft, Lukoil, Surgutneftegas, Novatek, and Yamal LNG.
