Number of public transit vehicles by mode in Germany 2019-2020
In 2020, the total number of vehicles in the public land transport network in Germany (excluding regional trains) amounted to 42,596, a slight year-on-year decrease of around 0.7 percent. In the same year, the urban bus fleet was the largest, representing almost 82.2 percent of the total number of vehicles of the German collective urban land transport.
