Number of bus lines in selected cities in Spain 2018

Barcelona had 741 bus lines in 2018, the most of any city in Spain. The capital, Madrid, had 662, far outstripping third-place Guipúzcoa. However, Madrid has a more extensive subway system, leaving Barcelona to rely on ground transport.
