Perceived danger of the Rassemblement National for French democracy 2014-2022, by CSP
In 2022, more than half of the people in France, 54 percent, considered the far-right Rassemblement National party led by Marine Le Pen to be a danger to democracy. This proportion was much higher among executives, intermediate professions and retired people, but decreased compared to 2021. The perception of this danger was lower among employees (48 percent), and workers (40 percent).
The latter were in fact nearly 50 percent to consider that the party founded by Jean-Marie Le Pen was capable of governing the country.
