China: satisfaction with current job 2022

A survey conducted in mainland China in March of 2022 revealed that around 56 percent of surveyed employees found their job fulfilling. Job fulfillment was one of the two most important criteria when choosing to make a change in one's work environment along with a fair financial compensation.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statements about your current work environment?

Among a total of 3,129 survey respondents, 54 percent were male, 41 percent were female, 5 percent were others;
7 percent were between 18 and 25 years, 46 percent were between 25 and 41 years, 35 percent were between 42 and 57 years, and 11 percent were between 58 and 76 years;
79 percent of respondents did professional/administrative work, 15 percent did skilled manual work, and 6 percent did semi-skilled or unskilled manual work;
97 percent worked full time.
