French views on the risk that the next generation might experience poverty 2017-2022

In 2022, 85 percent of French people considered that the risk of their children ever experiencing poverty was higher than for their generation. Only eight percent thought that this risk was lower, compared to 16 percent the previous year.
In 2020, 11.8 million people were at risk of poverty or social exclusion in France.
