CCPA readiness U.S. companies by type 2022

As of the fourth quarter of 2022, only 8.93 percent of B2C companies in the United States that were legally expected to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) were fully compliant with the privacy legislation. Approximately 42 percent of B2C companies were partially compliant, which means they used manual settings. Furthermore, around 48 percent did not provide compliance mechanisms. In the case of B2B companies, there was a similar situation, with a more significant part of the companies being unprepared for CCPA regulations.
