Beef cattle meat production Indonesia 2012-2021, by type
In 2021, the beef cattle meat production in Indonesia amounted to 437.78 thousand metric tons. This showed a decrease in comparison to the previous year. Currently, commercial cow breeding investors in Indonesia are exploring the possibilities to integrate the cattle breeding with oil palm cultivation. This will minimize the need for inorganic fertilizers and herbicides while requiring no new land clearing.
