Saudi Aramco's greenhouse gas emissions 2019-2022
In 2022, Saudi Aramco reported total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of 72 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO₂e). This was an increase of roughly six percent compared to the previous year. The Saudi state-owned oil giant is one of the world's biggest GHG emitters, and was responsible for almost five percent of total global CO₂ emissions produced between 2016 and 2022.
