Opinion on future ESG orientation of investors in real estate 2023, by region
In a survey conducted in Japan between January and February 2023, the majority of real estate fund managers surveyed thought that ESG orientation among investors in private real estate funds is likely to increase. The share of respondents who believed that interest in ESG investing was likely to increase among domestic and international investors was 87 and 88 percent, respectively.
