A survey conducted between June and July 2023 found that around 28.1 percent of adults in the U.S. who previously had COVID-19 reported Long COVID symptoms three months or longer after being infected. By state, Mississippi had the highest share of adults reporting long-lasting symptoms of COVID-19, with about 40.3 percent.
