Alcohol e-commerce distribution channels 2023

In a survey conducted in 2023, just over a fifth of online shoppers globally reported purchasing alcoholic beverages via online supermarkets and grocers, while some 13 percent of respondents said their preferred purchasing channel was online marketplaces such as Amazon and Mercado Libre. Another eight percent reported buying alcohol via retailer websites.
