In 2022, according to a survey, work travel was the most common reason for using a bike-share scheme in the United Kingdom at least once per week. Other trips include traveling for the purpose of visiting doctors, shops, or other entertainment facilities. 24 percent of survey respondents claimed to have used the bike-share scheme for other functional purposes.
