The term wheeling is used for the use of wheelchair and mobility scooters. The survey was not exclusive to people who walked or wheeled, and is representative of all residents. Participants were asked to state whether they think safety when walking or wheeling in their local area was good or bad.

Cities included in the survey are: Aberdeen, Belfast, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin Metropolitan Area, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Great Cambridge, Greater Manchester, Inverness, Liverpool City Region, Perth, Southampton City Region, Stirling, Tower Hamlets, Tyneside, West Midlands.
