Northern Ireland: share of residents likely to walk for journeys up to 2 miles by age
According to the Continuous Household Survey of Northern Ireland in the period 2021/2022, the age group with the largest share of respondents likely to walk for journeys of up to two miles at a rate of 72 percent were 25 to 34 year-olds. The likelihood of walking for short journeys decreased with with age.
