Main types of contraception used by women in South Korea 2022, by age group

According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2022, around 85 percent of teenagers stated that they used condoms as contraception. This was also the most common method for young adults, although older adults preferred the so-called pull-out method. Use of oral contraceptives such as the birth control pill was relatively low across all age groups.
