Religious participation of young people in Portugal 2023, by frequency
In Portugal, as of 2023, 47 percent of people aged between 18 and 34 years took part in religious events occasionally. A fourth of those surveyed did not participate in events of a religious nature. Engaging in religious happenings once a week was the practice of 15 percent of young people in the country.
