In 2021, Omani citizens made up the largest share of Gulf Cooperation Council citizens who received retirement benefits in other GCC member states, at 56.3 percent. Saudi Arabia had the second highest share of citizens who received retirement benefits in other GCC member states, with 34.6 percent. Qatari, Kuwaiti, and Emirati citizens made up the smallest proportion, with less than one percent each.
