French financial situation in May 2023
According to a survey conducted in May 2023, 37 percent of French respondents were able to make ends meet, but without being able to save some money. By comparison, only 18 percent of those surveyed were able to put some money on the side. Furthermore, 13 percent of those surveyed said they were forced to dip into their savings or even to borrow to make ends meet.
