U.S. belief that benefits of higher education exceed the cost 2022, by education/age
According to a survey conducted in 2022, Americans aged 60 years and over were most likely to say that the benefits of their higher education exceeded the costs regardless of their education level. While 55 percent of Americans aged 60 years and over with an associate's degree said that the benefits of their education exceeded the costs, only 33 percent of Americans aged between 18 to 29 years with an associate's degree agreed with this belief.
