Smoking prevalence among high school students Australia 1996-2023
In Australia,13.5 percent of high school students surveyed between 2022 and 2023, had smoked a tobacco cigarette or e-cigarette in their lifetime. This trend has declined significantly since 1996, when around 58 percent of students said they had smoked at least once in their lifetime.
