In 2023, 74 percent of IT professionals globally anticipated that data analytics and big data skills increase most in demand with the increasing use of generative artificial intelligence (AI). Interestingly, AI's impact on cybersecurity could also be felt in the survey, with 70 percent of respondents reported that cybersecurity and AI ethics skills are set to to increase most in demand due to AI.
