Cyber security events treated by the Italian CSIRT 2022

In 2022, there were a total of 1,094 cyber events that were treated by the Italian technical and operational offices of the Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale (Agency for the National Cybersecurity). In May 2022, the country's Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) worked on 109 cyber incidents that were reported to them and that had a national impact. In January 2022, the agency worked on a total of 63 cases that were reported by companies and Italian institutions in August and September 2022, respectively.
