Italy: small and medium companies approach to cyber security expenditure 2023
As of November 2023, over half of small and medium enterprises (SME) in Italy had a budget for cyber security. Of these, 47 percent allocated part of their IT budget to cyber security, while 11 percent reported they had a dedicated budget only for online security in their company. Overall, around four in 10 small and medium enterprises did not have plans for cyber security spending.
