According to a survey conducted in South Korea in December 2023, around 30 percent of respondents considered the declining birth rate and aging population the most significant issues to be tackled by the South Korean government and political parties. Employment and housing concerns followed, with approximately 20 percent and 13 percent of responses, respectively.
