During a March 2024 survey, it was found that 40 percent of the public in the United States followed the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament - known otherwise as March Madness - either somewhat or very closely. Meanwhile, around a third of the U.S. public followed the women's edition of March Madness to some degree.
