Production of hot rolled flat steel products in the U.S. 2000-2021
In 2021, just below 60 million metric tons of such products were made in the United States. This was a year-on-year increase of around 15 percent compared to the previous year, when production levels dropped significantly due to the coronavirus pandemic.
