Production of hot rolled long steel products in Canada 2000-2021
In 2021, Canada produced approximately 3.3 million metric tons of hot rolled long steel products. This is a rise in production of 19 percent compared to the previous year and reached the same level as 2019. Production peaked in 2001 with over 3.7 million metric tons of the products recorded and has been consistently increasing from 2014 to 2019.
