U.S.: leading gold mines

In 2020, the Cripple Creek mine in Teller, Colorado produced approximately 8,460 kilograms of gold. In comparison, the mine producing the largest amount of gold in that year was Carlin Mines Operations in Nevada, with some 26,700 kilograms of gold mined.
