
U.S. survey: views on private use of 3D-printers in 2013, by gender
In the wake of the first 3D gun being printed and fired, this source conducted a poll to find out about American's views on the private ownership and use of 3D-printing technology. Through the survey it was found that 62 percent of all respondents thought people should have the right to use such technology within their home for private purposes. When the results were broken down by gender it was found that males were more likely to support private use at 69 percent compared to just 55 percent of women.
