In 2021, the United States generated around 772 terawatt-hours of nuclear energy. That year, the U.S. was the main producer of nuclear power worldwide, followed by China, and France. The nuclear energy production of these countries was about half as much as the U.S.' production, at 383.2 terawatt-hours and 363.4 terawatt-hours, respectively.
