In the survey sample, seven percent of surveyed companies made an annual profit above 50 billion yuan, 10 percent made 15-50 billion yuan, 12 percent made 4-15 billion yuan and 71 percent made an annual profit below 4 billion yuan.
The sample featured 24 percent manufacturers/OEM, 19 percent Tier 1 suppliers, 29 percent Tier 2 suppliers, 11 percent Tier 3 suppliers and 17 percent miscellaneous automotive companies.
