OPEC refinery capacity 2012-2021, by member state
Saudi Arabia is the leading OPEC member country in terms of refinery capacity. As of 2021, the country's refinery capacity amounted to some 3.3 million barrels per calendar day. The second and third highest refinery capacities of OPEC countries were Venezuela and Iran, respectively. In 2021, Venezuela's refinery capacity stood at roughly 2.3 million barrels per calendar day, while Iran's capacity amounted to about 2.2 million barrels per calendar day.
