Since 2009, OPEC's share of global crude oil reserves remained relatively stable, at an average of 79.2 percent of the total global crude oil reserves. In 2019, the average annual OPEC crude oil price was some 64.05 U.S. dollars per barrel, while in 2014 the price was 96.29 U.S. dollars per barrel. OPEC stands for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and was established in Iraq in 1960.
